spelling

I just got a call from my husband asking if this thing had spell check. So I am going to apologize to everyone because I SUCK at spelling. Yes it has spell check but it doesn't catch everything. I guess I do things like put tone where it should be ton. I am sorry please forgive me for not always being grammatically correct. :) Thanks, I knew you would understand.

So much fun!

I have been waiting to get these pics so I could post about our fun night. The Bee's photographer took them. Anyway, on July 12 we got to go down on the field before the Bee's game! It was so cool! I have a good friend whose mom works for the Bee's and she was able to give us a tour of the building and let us go down on the field. We were just standing there hanging out when the players started to come out of the locker room. I was star struck, yes it sounds dumb, but we watch them play all the time. Anyway, we met some of them but our favorite player Brandon Wood (below), was standing in the dugout with his back to us. Easton loves him so I told him to go say hi. It was so cute he was like "hi B. Wood." Wood turned around and started chatting with us. I told him how much Easton loves him and that he thinks every player is him. Then Wood turned around and took out one of his bats and gave it to Easton. It was so cool! He has been up in the bigs before and it was his Angels bat! We were in heaven! We had such a fun experience! I hope we can do it again.

Cut Short

Our supposed to be fun filled weekend was cut short. Easton, Gabe and I left Thursday for the family cabin in Bear Lake. Zac was going to come up Friday after work. But on Friday morning Easton woke up with a fever and was really cranky. I just thought it was because he had a rough night. Well after acting cranky all day and not eating, he finally let us look at his throat. It was ugly. So we came home and took him to insta care. The Dr. said he has mono, what 3 year-old gets mono, I think she is full of crap! I think he has strep. She only did one strep test and they are supposed to do 2. So I am going to take him to his regular Dr. tomorrow. I will keep you posted. I didn't get very many pics due to our short stay. Gabe, Sophie, Max, Dave and Easton is far away in the background on the Jet ski with Nate and Liv.

The boys New York Trip

Over the 4th of July weekend, Easton and Zac went to New York with Zac's dad. You have to know that Zac is a HUGE Yankees fan. He has always wanted to go to Yankee stadium and watch them play. Since this is the last season being played in the old stadium then he had to go. He said that when he walked into the stadium he about cried, that it was truly a religious experience for him. Funny huh. Anyway, Easton was great and loved every minute of it. It was such an adventure for him. They had so much fun and got to watch the fireworks from a Sienfeld like diner.

All Tuckered out

He got to sit in a REAL New York Fire truck. Zac only asked for a pick in front of the truck but they did even better and let him play in the truck! He was in Heaven.

My trip

So for the 4th Zac and I took separate vacations. He went to New York with Easton for a boys trip. They met his dad there. (I will post pics of it later) and Gabe and I went to San Francisco to see a good friend of mine.

Our friend the Olson's live in Menlo park about 30 min from downtown San Fran. We had a tone of fun! On Friday we went shopping in downtown. They have great shopping! We went to a 3 story Old Navy and I was in heaven!. Then we went to china town, it was really crowded. It sucks to try and push a stroller through a crowd. Then we went to the pier to watch the fire works. It was so cold I had to bye a jacket. I have never worn long pants and a jacket on the 4th before. We didn't get to see any fireworks. The fog was to thick. :( But we had fun people watching. Gabe and I all bundled, ready to watch fireworks.

This is Lumbard street. It is famous because it zig zags down a really steep hill. I took this because I love hydrangeas (the flowers). Aren't they beautiful!
The view from Lombard Street

Then on Saturday we went to Santa Cruz to the beach. It was the perfect temp but so crowded The kids loved the water! There was this little pool left from when the tide came it. It was perfect for the kids to play in. I wish I had the picture of Libby and Bauer (Cheer's kids) lounging in it. It was really funny! We Came home on highway 1 and it was so beautiful!

We had a lot of fun! Thanks Cheer for putting up with us and letting us invade your house!
