Random let me think...

1. I once got bit by a squirrel!

Yep thats right i got bit by a squirrel. It was so nice and friendly...at least I thought. Ok so heres the story. When I was a t BYUI there were squirrels everywhere. One day when I was walking into class I saw this cute little squirrel sitting on a brick wall. I thought it would run as I got closer but it didn't, that is when I decided to see how close I could really get. I inched my way toward it and it still didn't move. So what do I do, I reach out to pet the damn thing. Instantly it opens its little jaws and takes a bit of my ring finger. It shook it a little and looked at me like... give me my food!! aka my finger. It sat there for a sec just looking at me then let go and ran away. I was in shock and called Zac balling, of course he laughed and thought it was the funniest thing he had ever heard. I can say it is funny now but it wasn't then.

2. I drive a full sized truck. Yes this my mom mobile. It is a Nissan Titan and I love it! I know I am a little white trash but thats okay.


3. I love to watch baseball- Every summer we get season tickets to the bees games! We try to go to as many games as possible. I have become a huge fan of the Anaheim Angels because the Bee's are affiliated with them. All the players we have watched on the Bees now play for the Angels.

4. I new Zac was Mr. Right about a week after dating him. We were engaged within 2 months of knowing each other and married in 6. We spent the whole summer apart before we were married and it sucked!


5. I love Mexican food - I could eat mexican food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My favorite place to eat is Cafe Sabor. I miss it! I need to hit up the one in Park City more.


6. Someday I hope to become a nurse.- I know that sounds funny because I already have a degree but I really, really, want to become a nurse. I have wanted to since I was a little girl. I applied to the nursing program 2 times when I was first in college and wasn't excepted. I didn't have the best of grades then so I just decided to finish out school in Public Relations. The U has an accelerated bachelor's program that lets you finish in 18 months. It is like having a full time job. I feel like now is the time for me to be home with my boys not trying to get a nursing degree. In due time.

7. I really like to cook. I don't do it very often because Zac is such a picky eater, and I don't love cleaning up the mess, but I really enjoy it. It is really relaxing and I think I am pretty good at it!

Pumpkins Pumpkins Everywhere

Every year we take the boys to the Maybe pumpkin patch in Riverton. They had so much fun picking out there very own pumpkins! Ok so Easton had more fun, Gaber just loved the little pumpkin we gave him. This year we invited our friends the Bartletts to come with us. The kids had so much fun running through the fields looking for that perfect pumpkin. I swear they wanted every pumpkin they saw. Easton was in heaven on the tractor and cried so hard when we had to go home. He just wanted to drive the tractor home. Um... I don't think so, that would take days!

Birthday boy!

Ahhh I am feeling so much better thanks to antibiotics! I don't know what I would have done without it. Anyway, Gaber's birthday was on the 6th. The lucky little dude got to have 2 birthday parties. One at Grammy and Poppy's and then one here with Zac's fam. So lets start with the one at my Mom and Dad's.

We spent the weekend there from the 3-5th and we had a lot of fun! Swimmin in the hot tub, playing with cousins, going to Beverly Hills Chihuahua (not recommended) and just hanging out. On Sunday we had my brother's and their families over for dinner at my parents house. We ate spaghetti because Gaber loves it! We sang happy birthday and Easton helped him blow out the candle. Then we let him dive into some cake. Ok, so he didn't dive, he had to be helped. He wasn't really sure of the whole thing. He liked sticking his hands in it and squishing it through his fingers but he didn't really care about eating it. Then all the cousins decided to dig in too. It was fun!

Do I have something on my face? He even had it in his hair.

Okay now lets do the party at our house. Zac's mom flew in from Vegas on the 10th and stayed for the weekend. We had Zac's sister over on Saturday afternoon to watch the Husker (Nebraska football. My husband is a die hard fan) game. We ate lots of treats and watched a good game, but I don't remember if they won or not. It was to long ago. Anyway, then that night we had Zac's aunt, her husband, his cousin and her little boy over for a party. I made Gaber a monkey cake because that is my nick name for him. (I didn't get a dang pic of the cake before he layed into it.) We had pizza for dinner and then of coarse we let him have at it once again. He did the same thing, he just played in the frosting and didn't eat it. He loved it!

I am so bad but I didn't get hardly any pics at our house.

the test is in

I woke up this morning and felt worse then I did yesterday, so i broke down and went to the doctor. It isn't that I don't like to go to the doctor, it's just that I think I can get over it myself. Well not this time. It is official, I have strep. When the doctor saw the test he said it was "very" positive. I guess that means it is bad! That isn't the worst of it. I am scheduled to go under the knife on the 14th of November to have my golf ball sized tonsils removed. I heard it hurts like hell. Great! (notice the sarcasm) .

So I promise I will post pics of Gabe's birthday. I have been meaning to do it but I have been sick. Dang cold! My head is pounding, my throat is burning, my ears are itching and I have been sleeping all day (thanks Michele for taking care of the kids). To sum it all up I feel like CRAP! So this is about all I can muster to write. Thanks for your patience.

Cheeribaby

Ok so I know I have done this before but she has some new stuff that is sooooooooo cute! I have a friend who has a blog called www.cheeribaby.blogspot.com. She has the cutest stuff! She has some fun stuff for little girls right now. You have to check it out!

Look Who is 1!

My little Monkey is 1! I can't believe it! This year has flown by. It is kind of bitter sweet. I love that he is getting so big and is learning so many things, but I hate that he is not my little baby anymore! Can they just stay little forever? Anyway, Happy Birthday DB! We love you!

Michael Phelps

So the other day Easton had been in the bath tub FOREVER! I went in and told him he was my little fishy and this was his reply. "I am not a fishy . I am Michael Phelps!" I laughed so hard! He loves to wear his "super hero goggles" and go "under sea." He is so funny because he always talks about the "Olympics, far far away in China." He loved the Olympics and was so sad when they were over.

Write after I took this pic of Gaber he face planted out of the tub and spit his lip. Ya know the thing that attaches your lip to your gums. I didn't think it was that bad until the next day when one of my friends who is a nurse looked at it. She told me he should have gotten stitches. I am such a bad mom! I tried to get him into the dr. today but the dr. is out of town and they are all booked up. What to do? What to do?
